In The Earth is the Highest You Can Go
The title of this blog is completely the opposite of what you may be thinking... What I'm talking about are Mountains and what they've taught me about life...

I wouldn’t be me to not think deeply about any and everything. You can blame my Pisces moon. As much as diving into my imagination is a characteristic of mine, it is also my downfall because while I may be thinking deeply about something, I am also missing out on being present with it. Every few months since the beginning of 2020, I received an invite to travel and spend time in the mountains. And now, I live here, in the Allegheny Mountains of Pennsylvania. I've always found the most peace within nature, but at the elevations in the mountains, nature hits differently for me. “In the earth is the highest you can go” sparked in my mind as I drove through mountains thinking about why they have brought me to them so much over the past two years. For me, the mountains were a great place to reset, recharge, and restore my energy especially while in the middle of my spiritual journey to enlightenment and the dark night of my soul journey. Gaining spiritual authority has been my ultimate goal. It’s been more important to me than fame and fortune. With this goal dancing around in my subconscious, the mountains worked double time on me to give me what I was asking for. Do you know how they say be careful what you wish for? Well, the mountains will bring it to you.

Mountains are a large part of the earth's crust pushed forcefully to its elevated height. It is literally the ground pushed and formed upward. This makes me think about how our struggles build us UP. The stress that the Earth had to go through in order to push itself up into a mountain is the energy these areas exude along with standing as the most beautiful atmospheres and landscapes I've experienced yet. Imagine that: the conjunction of stress and beauty. The conjoining of two opposing forces, to me, are most powerful together. Together, they are also most beautiful to me and are what I feel make up the true source of creation. Think about birth and the amount of pain it takes to bring about life; that is another example of how something so beautiful and godly is made up of two opposing forces. This is a thought that’s been brand new to me since the beginning of 2020 when I was newly reintroduced to the mountains in an extreme way (this story is coming soon - "My Shroom Induced Kundalini Awakening"). That trip made me recognize that the true source of creation and life is really composed of both the darkest dark and the brightest light. This also sparked an ignition in me to remember that the darkness is always right next to me, so I better get and keep my shit together.

Everything in life is composed of both its two opposing forces and the mountains are here to remind us of this. That energy is what I feel is given to me from the mountains. It is intense and powerful. I would confidently say that this energy is Godly, where both positives and negatives exist at the same place, at the same time, and comes from the same source. This theme has presented itself in other lessons for me as well. For example, the present moment is both the beginning and the end, good and bad are seen within everything, with great courage comes triumphing over a lot of fear, and going through pain is what makes us stronger. It’s a perspective that can bring peace and balance to life as well as give life a little more meaning. Life may come with struggles, but those struggles are what pushes and forms us to our elevation.
Let's build and move mountains, today & every day!
